im going to admit i have really neglected my reading and blogging this week.. and something i am horrified to admit to is i haven't even been keeping track of my book pages on my book mark D: iv been worried about college and homework and i dropped the SWEEP series because the next book that i was supposed to read wasn't even about them. Morgan and Hunter had found an ancient diary and everything but the first and last chapter was the actual words of the diary they found. and i did NOT wanna read that. so i dropped the series, sadly :/ Within the next few days my friends mentioned that the UGLIES PRETTIES SPECIALS EXTRAS series was going to become a movie sometime within the next year! i remember reading that series in the 7th grade and i loved it! and since its been so long since iv read it, i picked up the first book, Uglies, at the school library.. but after i few chapters i remember the first like BOOK is pretty slow, and with all my requirements i cant deal with a slow book. so i browsed MR Hill's book selection yesterday and picked out a book called "The Wonder Spot" and while reading that last night i was skimming through the book, and this book consists of 4 or 5 different stories... UGH! no, i want a long, action pact filled book, not short stories! so once again im stuck... but i did put "The Dart League King" on hold at the library, recommended by MR Hill... but again, i cant wait for that to come in! ahhhhhh!

a good reason to stop reading, yet OFCOURSE i wont

OMG! im beyond peeved. in the 10th book, "Seeker" (which is basically the name for a witch police officer).. WAIT well let me give basic info first. Hunter and Morgan are together, in love, been through so much togther, yeah yeha yeah. meant-to-be couple. anyways, Hunter, whos a seeker, is sent off to canada for numeruous reasons, but one is to investigate this girl witch becasue they (the "Witch Council") think shes doing evil magick. well... long story short, so i dont upset myself again, he kisses this girl!!! thier arguing about right and wrong, the moment is all heated, she pulls him towards her and they kiss, BUT HE DOSNT STOP RIGHT AWAY! he pulls her close and kisses her back!! OHHHHHHH i was livid! which makes me a loser.. anyways, eventually he pulls away all sorry and that was so wrong blah blah blah.. and uses his personal family issues as an excuse as to why he so unstable. WHATEVER, hes a jerk. cause hes all i know it was wrong but she felt so good pressed against me.. just becasue this stupid witch has " a bigger chest" than morgan.. >:/ <--- thats a very angry face. im a firm believer that once a guys cheats, or even atempts to cheat, HE'S DONE! buh-bye, toot-a-loo! and in my head im screaming I HAVE TO TELL MORGAN! ....but wait these are fictional characters! and im getting totally fumed at a bunch of words! this is why i just cant read some of those dramatic highschool teeny bopper books cause thats what its all about; jerks and ..for lack of a better word, "loose girls" .. but *sigh* the book must go on||

btw, i was reading this whole part in government class after a test, and totally turned a couple of heads at my disgruntled noises...

i enjoying going to the lake, and TRYING to feed the ducks.. who just swim away. instead i get attacked by seagulls and swans >:/

intheFAMILYofthings

hello im MS speedy reader and im already on the 10th book of the SWEEP series :D the first 9 books were written from Morgans point of view, but this is the first one written in Hunter's point of view (her bf). im really not too found of it. cause his life is kinda boring... hes just going to Canada looking for his lost father. i find morgans life alot more interesting. but after this book, theres only 2 left, so something bigs gotta happen soon cause these books are never more than 200 pages really.. which i don't like. i like big fat obese novels. i like the weight of them in my hand.. ALSO the reason why i dont like kindles and nooks, cause you cant turn pages, hold the book in your lap, see how far youv read and how much you have left to go. call my old fashion, but i like books(:

btw, etymology is my favorite class ;D

GODgavemeYOU♥

I’ve been a walking heartache I’ve made a mess of me The person that I’ve been lately Ain’t who I wanna be But you stay here right beside me And watch as the storm blows through And I need you Cause God gave me you for the ups and downs God gave me you for the days of doubt And for when I think I lost my way There are no words here left to say, it’s true God gave me you Gave me you There’s more here than what we’re seeing A divine conspiracy That you, an angel lovely Could somehow fall for me You’ll always be love’s great martyr And I’ll be the flattered fool And I need you
God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
And for when I think I lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it’s true
God gave me you
On my own I’m only Half of what I could be I can’t do without you We are stitched together And what love has tethered I pray we never undo
Cause God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
God gave me you for the ups and downs
God gave me you for the days of doubt
And for when I think I lost my way
There are no words here left to say, it’s true
God gave me you, gave me you.
He gave me you.

Currently*9_2

well iv finished two books this week ("The Calling" & "Changeling").. which totals 377 pages!
TOTAL: 621 pages this semester.

this is an exerpt (sp?) from an essay about Mister Rogers i had to read for a college class and this paragraph was so well written and so powerful, i read it like 4 times.. i know its alot, but its deep.

"He is losing, of course. The revolution he started--a half hour a day, five days a week--it wasn't
losing. He is losing to it, to our twenty-four-hour-a-day pie fight, to the dizzying cut and the
disorienting edit, to the message of fragmentation, to the flicker and pulse and shudder and strobe,
to the constant, hivey drone of the electroculture … and yet still he fights, deathly afraid that the
medium he chose is consuming the very things he tried to protect: childhood and silence. Yes, at
seventy years old and 143 pounds, Mister Rogers still fights, and indeed, early this year, when
television handed him its highest honor, he responded by telling television--gently, of course--to just
shut up for once, and television listened. He had already won his third Daytime Emmy, and now he
went onstage to accept Emmy's Lifetime Achievement Award, and there, in front of all the soapopera
stars and talk-show sinceratrons, in front of all the jutting man-tanned jaws and jutting
saltwater bosoms, he made his small bow and said into the microphone, "All of us have special ones
who have loved us into being. Would you just take, along with me, ten seconds to think of the
people who have helped you become who you are ... Ten seconds of silence." And then he lifted his
wrist, and looked at the audience, and looked at his watch, and said softly, "I'll watch the time," and
there was, at first, a small whoop from the crowd, a giddy, strangled hiccup of laughter, as people
realized that he wasn't kidding, that Mister Rogers was not some convenient eunuch but rather a
man, an authority figure who actually expected them to do what he asked … and so they did. One
second, two seconds, three seconds … and now the jaws clenched, and the bosoms heaved, and the
mascara ran, and the tears fell upon the beglittered gathering like rain leaking down a crystal
chandelier, and Mister Rogers finally looked up from his watch and said, "May God be with you" to
all his vanquished children."

Can You Say ... "Hero"?

For the SAKE of Doris

i finshed "Changeling" last night! the ending was full of excitment! the last 2 chapters, she shaped shifted into a wolf, defeated her biological father, and saved the lives of many witches. the author could have done better spreading out the events of the book, but in the end, the outcome was the same. i'll be finishing this series very soon, i presume.
